Bostina & Associates assisted Alcedo during a deal worth several tens of millions of Euros, whereby the Japanese group, Sumimoto, purchased 90% of the Company's share capital. The legal team that provided advice throughout more than two years worth of negotiations was led by Mr. Cezar Gusu, Partner Lawyer. Moreover, the structuring of the deal involved Bostina & Associates Corporate Finance, led by Mrs. Oana Borocan.
Alcedo controls approximately 20% of the market for the distribution of plant protection products and over 10% of the market for the distribution of certified seeds, respectively. Alcedo also owns Alchimex, a Romanian producer of plant protection products.
